The teaching farm Tshanfeto (“Get up!” In local language) was founded in 2000 in Yopougon (17 km from Abidjan), an inspiration of the Betharramite missionaries.
The aim of the project is to train young Africans so that they can acquire competence and self-confidence to manage a small farm to support their family and progressively develop the economy of the area.
Tshanfeto is a state of the art teaching farm to train young people in the best agricultural techniques, instill confidence in them and make them independent thus facilitating their socio-professional inclusion.
